Over the course of a half day today you will have the chance to visit the historical and political center of the city around May Square (Plaza de Mayo) and the the presidential house; San Telmo with its cobblestone streets and the oldest residential neighborhood; La Boca where Buenos Aires turns colorful and tango is ever present.
In the evening we’ll pick you up from your hotel to take you to a mystical place where you’ll discover one of our most ancient traditions. Tango is more than our national dance. Tonight you will enjoy a three hour long professional display of tango and music with a group of local artists onstage immersed in an elegant and alluring place.
At appropriate time you will have a private transfer to the domestic airport to take your flight to Puerto Iguazu. The little and relaxing town is the gate to visit the impressive Iguazu Falls (recently declared one of the New Seven Natural Wonders!), a must see destination for any traveler visiting Argentina.
Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and provided a private transfer to enjoy a half day excursion to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls, where you will enjoy vast panoramic views of the Falls allowing you to take them in their entirety.
Start your day with a trip to the Argentine side of Iguazu National Park after breakfast and enjoy spectacular views of this natural wonder. An experienced tour guide will show you the hidden gems of the national park and will take you off the beaten path to show you the best views of the falls.
There are numerous trails throughout the 210-square-mile reserve that provide visitors with different walking experiences and sceneries. Take a trip to the Devil’s Throat and get onboard the Ecological Train, which is included in the tour.
At the appropriate time, you will be taken to the domestic airport to take your flight to Mendoza.
Welcome to Mendoza! Argentina’s main wine region and heartland of Malbec grape, it has also impressive mountains (like Aconcagua, a climber’s world known summit), outdoor sports (adventurous rafting) and breathtaking landscapes.
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel for a half day tour to the Mendoza Wine Country. The tour is in a small group and with a bilingual guide (semi-private service). You will visit two of the best wineries in the area, where you will learn about their philosophy, the wine making process, and you will have the chance to taste some delicious locally produced Cabernet and Malbec.
After breakfast, you will have a full day tour in semi-private service to the nearby Andes Mountains, where you will be able to enjoy the most impressive panoramic views of Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas.
Starting along the Mendoza River, you will be amazed by the view of the majestic mountain range, the Cordon del Plata, as well as the Potrerillos Dam, a colossal work for hydraulic power generation, and the beautiful valley of Cacheuta.
In summer season you can make a nice hike to Quebrada del Durazno at the base of Aconcagua, passing through Horcones Lagoon.
This morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and driven to the domestic airport for your flight to Bariloche. If the sky is clear, on landing you will get to see the contrast of blue Nahuel Huapi Lake, white peaks of the Andes and the green of the forest.
You can explore the Swiss-like town plaza, try some of the delicious locally made chocolates or walk by the lake on you own to start feeling the magnificence of the Lake District.
Today you will start enjoying the highlights of the Lake District.
This excursion goes along the most classic circuit of San Carlos de Bariloche in an active way. While visiting the most important viewpoints of the area like Campanario Hill and Llao Llao Hotel, the guide will explain how this little mountain village evolved to become one of the most attractive touristic cities in Patagonia.
Setting out by boat from Pañuelo Port, on the Llao Llao peninsula, you’ll arrive at Centinela Island, resting place of Perito Francisco Pascasio Moreno, father of National Parks in Argentina.
You’ll visit Cántaros Waterfall and take a walk through the lush vegetation of the Valdivian rainforest, arriving at Cántaros Lake, the mouth of the waterfall, where you can witness the overwhelming sight of a 1,500-year-old larch tree.
A short five minute sail later, you will finally arrive at Puerto Blest, a place that has amazed travelers from all over the world.
From there, you’ll be able to tour the bay and the shores of Lago Frías and its peculiar green waters, which originate at one of the glaciers on Cerro Tronador, the natural border between Argentina and Chile.
This is the end of your northern travels. At the appropriate time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the airport to take your flight back to Buenos Aires.
You can explore the cobblestone, tree-lined streets of Palermo Soho in search of some one-of-a-kind Porteño fashion stores or discover the incredible street art in the area. If you’re leaving on a Saturday or Sunday, you may have the chance to visit one of the city markets, only open on weekends.
At the appropriate time, we will bring you to the airport for your journey home. Your host will help you to check-in to your flight and wish you buen viaje!
