In the morning we’ll pick you up to enjoy our Buenos Aires city tour. You will be swept away by the highlights of our beloved Buenos Aires. You will have the chance to visit the historical and political center of the city around Plaza de Mayo and the presidential house; San Telmo with its cobblestone streets and the oldest residential neighborhood; La Boca where Buenos Aires turns colorful and tango is ever present.
In the evening we’ll pick you up from your hotel to take you to a mystical place where you’ll discover one of our most ancient traditions. Tango is more than our national dance. Tonight you will enjoy a three hour long professional display of tango and music with a group of local artists onstage immersed in an elegant and alluring place. At the end of the evening, around midnight, you will be driven back to your hotel, fully in love with the bohemian spirit of our beloved Buenos Aires.
Today we’ll pick you up to make an 8-10 hour long visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park, just 12 km away from the city and lying on the shore of the famous Channel sailed by Charles Darwin. Once at Ensenada Bay, you will have time to enjoy the view over the Beagle Channel before you start hiking along the coast.
After a homemade picnic you will start the second part of this adventure. Take your oar for a plunge and start a 1.5 hour canoeing trip along Lapataia river (only available for children over five years old).
In 1833 Charles Darwin sailed the Beagle Channel and discovered an amazing landscape. Today is your turn: become another explorer of this channel, primitively named Onashaga Channel since the Onas were its first sailers.
Argentina standing at your left and Chile to your right, you’ll sail the natural border until reaching the iconic end-of-the-world lighthouse, the ancient guard of the bay. On your way back, you’ll stop at Bridges Island to walk an interpretative wildlife path, learning about the Yaman’s history and seeing the largest shelly deposits of the region.
Today we’ll drive you to the airport to take your short flight to El Calafate, another favorite of adventure travelers who chance to unearth the most spellbinding natural wonders, like the Perito Moreno Glacier.
El Calafate is not just about the glaciers. They are the main attractions that you can visit via hiking or a boat ride, but you have a lot more to discover about Argentine rural culture. From Calafate you can also visit a typical Patagonian finca (ranch) and learn all about the gaucho (cowboy) culture and enjoy a great asado (barbecue).
In the morning, we’ll pick you up and drive you to Glaciers National Park to take the six hour long Perito Moreno Glacier tour. Get prepared to play with the giants!
During about one hour, a bilingual guide will provide you with all the information you might want to know… you will learn things that you might have never thought about. After this visit you will take a boat ride that will take you close enough to fully appreciate the 80 meter (262 feet) high ice walls of Perito Moreno! You’ll never feel closer to this gigantic and impressive natural masterpiece.
“If we’ve got this far, why stop now?”, that’s what most travelers say, who want to make the best of their time in Patagonia, and they are absolutely right! Get to explore the rural culture of Patagonia by venturing into a day tour to the ever-impressive Estancia Cristina.
Sail the turquoise water of Lake Argentino to reach the estancia, deeply rooted in the Glaciers National Park. Enjoy the vastness of the setting, a 4×4 ride to get stunning views of Upsala Glacier and taste a juicy Argentine steak cooked at its natural and ideal environment.
Today you will leave the freezing weather and fly to the jungle: we’ll take you to the airport to take your flight to Puerto Iguazú. The small border town of Puerto Iguazú is the gateway to visit the impressive Iguazú Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site, making it a must-see destination for any traveler visiting Argentina.
If you’re eager to explore, you can visit the “Hito tres fronteras”, a viewpoint west of the town center that stands high above the turbulent reddish-brown junction of the Iguazú and Paraná rivers, which also form the Triple Frontera, between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.
Today our driver and bilingual guide will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the Iguazú National Park, on the Argentinian side. The falls are surrounded by a humid subtropical forest where the exuberant vegetation is home to many different animals and birds.
Our guide will help you spot some of them: ant birds, toucans, manakins, parrots, coatis, just to name a few of the most common birds. Lower and upper walkways weave in and around falls permitting up close and personal experiences with this magnificent spectacle of nature. You will have the chance to meet “The Devil’s throat”: the largest of the falls and for many the most spellbinding.
After breakfast, we’ll take you to a 3-4 hour long excursion to the Brazilian side of the Iguazú Falls. Don´t forget your passport! While Argentina has 80% of the falls on its side, Brazil has the best panoramic view. On the Argentinian side you will have the sensation of being right inside the falls, but only by visiting the Brazilian side you will fully appreciate the immensity of Iguazú Falls.
At the appropriate time in the afternoon, you will have a transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires where we’ll be waiting to take you to your hotel. Enjoy your last night in the city in one of the trendy restaurants and bars of Palermo Soho neighbourhood.
At the appropriate time, we will bring you to the airport for your journey home. Your host will help you to check-in to your flight and wish you buen viaje!
